retail working was pretty fun. it was different at a warehouse. you can slack more. haha and we were given 3 pieces of adidas tops each. dri-fit. hahaha *smiles widely* let's start with thurs. started work at 9. had breakfast and slacked around, cause the goods have not arrived yet. btw, i was incharge of the originals apparals with nich and wen. we continued slacking and chit-chatting till we had lunch. lol and we're paid. haha. after that, finally goods arrived batch by batch. and our apparels were among the last few. so slacked again. decided to help out with the footwear. omg, cartons and cartons, boxes and boxes. a million pairs of shoes la. zzz. packed them according to models, colours and sizes. could die man. and when we did our stocks, it was so much more relaxed. lol. simple work, according to sizes will do. haha and jus hang up a few display pieces. simple job. anyhow, we ended at 9 and trained home. really tired. haha.
friday, yesterday. 1st day of warehouse sale. we were there at 9. couldnt experience how long the queue was outside. haha at 10am, it was open to vips and invited guests, it was enough to kill. haha. our counter was directly in front of the entrance and the first counter that you will see. so all rushed towards us. and our worldcup jackets were selling like hotcakes cus it was only $60. haha (oh btw, the day before, staffs had already made our own reservations before anyone else. hahaha, so that we can purchase them later.) we were super busy, customer after customer kept asking loads of questions and within 2 hours, jackets, ALL SOLD! hahaha. everyone started asking soon after, and we had to tell them the truth, only to disappoint them and when they asked how much it was, they felt even worse. lol, wasted. anyway, early bird catches the worm, you see. heh. the guys beside us were selling hardware, the bags. haha and they were really crappy and funny. good entertainment so we wouldnt feel bored. the queue was never-ending till 7pm, when we closed. we were super busy and legs almost died-ed. at the end of the day, we were only left with one-quarter of stocks. lol. and it's the stocks that are NOT THAT popular. the sell-able ones were all gone. haha well working in the retail side is different, get to see loads of people. haha saw liangzhi, soohui and team, melv sim, one of the soul member, the superhost li teng, yongfeng and many others la. cant remember. haha loads of pioneer peeps too. after work, went to bugis to eat pastamania =) with the couple and wen. talk loads of crap, mostly about 70s80s. lovable friends as always. =) homed at midnight.
today reached at 1030. was late. and when walking in, the queue was already all the way till around 7-eleven. haha we open at 11 by the way. these people are crazy, i wonder what time did the earliest person arrive. haha. =x went into expo, had breakfast, briefing.. we sold almost half of our goods yesterday overall, woohoo! =) displayed and packs some more clothes nicely and it was 11 already. the crowd wasn't as bad this time, cos the control the crowd by batches. haha. the good news is, we are left with countable pieces of apparels today! lol. even the ugliest goods that we think has already been sold. HAHAHAHA. can you believe it? cus it's the nicest out of everything there? and when you tell the customers that the apparel is the last piece and it fits them, straight away it goes into their plastic bags. lol. cute people. i'm left with 2 tank tops, a few long sleeve shirt, a track pants, 2 skirts and a cap =) since it's a saturday saw even more people. haha xp, darren and fren, yuhan and team, leonard, yow renn, miss siah, some ex-bbss people.. and somemore, i also forget who le. lol. halfway wen and nich left to do some cashier job den left with me and eeen. and eeen went to sleep. so left me alone. ahha and the guys were helpful la. help to take care of my counter den chit-chat and crap. lol they are funny but nice people =) wooo. we ended early today, closed at 7. cus nothing much to pack! =D haha left at 8. went to bugis for kfc this time. chit-chatted about siblings. i duno why. suddenly the topic just started. lol. left and homed, spoke to wenny on the train. loads of stuffs. not really alot, but it's like important stuffs that mean alot to me. yups, haven talk to her for a long long time le.
okie, need to sleep. tmr's last day of work + packing up. hopefully all our apparals can be sold!! =D ooo.. nights people!
